Since 1987, Countryside Association's Community Employment Services program has created and sustained relationships within local business communities. Countryside Employment Specialists help job candidates find and secure a position that aligns with their identified work interests and abilities. When a job offer is accepted, Countryside provides support to ensure a new hire's success in meeting job requirements.
Countryside's reputation for providing a strong, skilled work force with the necessary support for promoting job readiness, continues to attract employers who want to combine efforts to meet their employment and labor needs.
Countryside Association was founded in 1954 in Palatine and opened a 2nd location in Waukegan in 1973. Over the years, the agency's supports have grown to include a number of life-changing services, but the focus has always been on employment.
