Started in 1981, The Picnic Basket Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Libertyville has been a cornerstone of the town for generations. We serve a wide variety of gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts and pride our selves on the most fresh, delicious and healthy food. At The Picnic Basket your food is prepared to order with care, quickly and conveniently. All food is available for dine in or for carry-out.
We also offering catering for all occasions for pick up, delivery or full service. We offer everything from cold appetizers to hot entrees to sweet desserts and everything in between. We cater all events including working lunches, holiday parties, showers, birthday parties, graduations, open houses, weddings and more. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions including vegan, gluten free, halal and more. If you need good food for a group on time we can do it.
