Currently, Mundelein is experiencing significant interest in residential developments of various types. Also, non-residential property owners, brokers, and tenants (commercial, industrial, institutional) are expressing a need to Mayor Steve Lentz and the Board of Trustees for increased rooftops to provide tenants, customers, and employees.

Mundelein’s Building Department also reports that there is an increase in permits for independent projects by private homeowners and business owners. This is all very positive and exciting news for Mundelein, indicating that the strategic steps the Village has taken over the past two decades is indeed attracting attention with developers, homeowners, and businesses.
