Express Employment Professionals of Libertyville is searching for a skilled Electronic Technician to join the team with our client in the Vernon Hills area! - Schedule: 1st shift flexible hours with some overtime as needed

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for servicing, testing and evaluating electromechanical products and related accessories
- Troubleshoot, replace and repair defective components
- Solder and de-solder both surface mount and thru-hole components
- Troubleshoot to the component level using schematics, oscilloscope and multimeters
- Follow all quality systems and company procedures to ensure the quality of products provided to customers
Requirements:
- 2 year technical degree in electronics or related field
- 2-3 years of prior experience in electronic or electromechanical technician role
- Experience with electronic circuits
- Soldering experience
- Prior background working with oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Able to read schematics
- Background working with medical devices is a plus
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
